The Wiggle Room Review

January is not my favorite month. The soft winter glow of the holidays is gone and all that’s left is cold days and dark nights. Maryland is far enough north that we get cold, but not far enough that we actually get an abundance of snow. With the winter wonderland of early January long gone, all of us are getting a bit stir crazy. Not to mention that we have a very active 14-month-old who hates her hands being cold, but also refuses to wear her mittens. We don’t have a lot of options. Thankfully, the Wiggle Room came to the rescue last weekend.

The Wiggle Room Review

The Wiggle Room is an indoor playground located in Crofton, Maryland about 20 minutes from Annapolis. It boasts 5,700 square feet of open play area divided into two rooms. The Wiggle Giggle room is designed for children ages 0-5, and the Ninja Royale room is perfect for older children. We spent the majority of our time in the 0-5 room. This space is full of toys, play structures, games, and puzzles perfect for little hands and minds. The entire concept of The Wiggle Room is open play. Kids are free to roam and explore as much or as little as they’d like. Perfect for our busy girl.

One of the best aspects of The Wiggle Room is the price. You can’t beat an indoor play gym that only costs $15 for the first child, and then $9 for each additional sibling. Also, parents are completely free which is a huge plus. There are also multi-pass packages and memberships available for purchase. They also host birthday parties on weekends, as well as various activities during the week.

We arrived on Saturday around 9:30 am and stayed until about 11:15 am. It was quite busy, but our daughter had a tone of fun. One other great thing about The Wiggle Room is their open play philosophy. You can come for an hour or a full day. You are also allowed to leave and come back the same day at no additional charge.

Overall we enjoyed our first Wiggle Room experience and I’m sure we will be back again soon. It’s a perfect rainy day activity when your little needs to get some extra energy out.
